Two men have been arrested after being caught behaving suspiciously in the Charlemont area.
The two men from Thomastown were observed last night around 3am in black casing homes and cars.
Police from Geelong, Waurn Ponds and Torquay responded, with the two men pursued on foot and arrested.
The duo has been charged with going equipped to steal, threats to inflict serious injury and unlawful assault.
Police said they will continue to act to keep the community safe.
“Our active night shift patrols by postcode continue to prove effective – 24/7,” a statement said.
“Anyone impacted by offending in Charlemont overnight is asked to report each incident via PAL/online reporting portal for next steps investigation.”
The men will face court in June.
