Firies have tackled a grass and scrub blaze in Bells Beach, believed to have started as a private burn-off.
Emergency services were called to Bones Road just after 3pm, with the blaze put out just after 3.30pm.
CFA had seven trucks on scene and say the blaze had to be extinguished due to high winds in the area.

They’ve reminded land-owners to register their burn-offs online and follow local by-laws.
