Locals looking to do what they can to support the victims of the horror shooting at Bondi Beach have been urged to roll up their sleeves and donate blood.
There are 280 donation appointments available at the Lifeblood centre on Ryrie Street, Geelong before the end of the year.
There’s particular demand for O type blood donations.

Lifeblood’s website is currently experiencing high volumes of traffic which is impacting performance for some users, with the organisation working to fix the outage, while their call centre is working through a large quantity of calls.
Locals can book at www.lifeblood.com.au, by calling 13 14 95, or on the Donate Blood app, but are urged to be patient as they work to meet demand.
