Two people have been taken to hospital after a car hit a building in Belmont.
Police have confirmed a 54-year-old Ocean Grove man was struck, standing at a reception desk in Bupa Dental on the corner of High Street and Roslyn Road when the vehicle entered the building.
He was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition, treated for upper and lower body injuries.
Police have confirmed the 45-year-old woman from Portarlington behind the wheel returned a positive preliminary breath test.
She was taken to Geelong University Public Hospital by road in a stable condition for monitoring, under police guard and yet to be interviewed.
Emergency services were called to the intersection around 11.15am, where a white Toyota had collided with the building.
