Car driven into Lara tobacco store

A tobacco shop has been targeted in an early morning ram-raid in Lara.

Emergency services were called to The Centreway around 3.45 this morning to reports a car had been driven into the front window of the store.

The offender than took off.

The shop was targeted in a firebombing incident in the early hours of Saturday when a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the front door, causing minor damage.

Detectives were at the shop on Monday as part of their investigation.

It is not known if these incidents are linked, or if either are linked to other fires at tobacco stores across Melbourne.
