A woman in her 80s has been taken to University Hospital Geelong after a single vehicle rollover in Newtown.
Emergency services were called to Queens Road just before 1pm on Wednesday, arriving to find a vehicle had flipped on to it’s roof outside St Joseph’s College.
FRV and CFA crews worked to extract the occupant, handing her into the care of Ambulance Victoria, who had Advanced Life Support Paramedics and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance Paramedics on scene.

The woman was taken to hospital by road ambulance with upper body injuries in a stable condition.
An FRV spokesperson said crews remained on scene until a tow truck arrived to ensure the area was safe.
