A man will face court today charged following a hit and run in Corio.
A woman was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after she was reportedly hit by a car yesterday morning.
The driver allegedly fled the scene, before handing himself into police last night, where he was remanded to face court.

“The pedestrian, a 43-year-old woman from Corio, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries,” police said in a statement.
“An 18-year-old man from Corio attended a police station on Sunday evening and has been charged in relation to the matter.
“He has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, careless driving, fail to stop, fail to render assistance and drive whilst suspended.”
