The clean up begins today following a fire and series of explosions in North Geelong.
An emergency warning was issued yesterday afternoon after a fire broke out near Thompson Rd and Armstrong St, spreading to gas bottles and causing explosions around 3:30pm.
Fire crews brought the blaze under control by 5:24pm, with all warnings downgraded by VicEmergency.
Emergency crews remained on the scene of the blaze throughout the night and into the morning, with Thompson road reopened to traffic around 6:30am.
Smoke was visible across much of the town yesterday, though an air qualkity warning has now been removed.
An investigation continues into the cause of the blaze.
