Coaches replace trains as cricket fans flock to Geelong

A headache for cricket fans using the public transport system to make their way to Kardinia Park on Monday night for the Renegades’ Big Bash League clash with the Brisbane Heat.

There are coach replacements in place along the Geelong line for evening services from Sunday 14 December to Tuesday 16 December.

On Monday, cricket fans looking to make their way home after the match will be met with bus replacements for the entire journey from Waurn Ponds to South Cross from 8pm.

Heading in the opposite direction, coaches will be in place from 9pm to the last service.

The match starts at 7:15pm at GMHBA Stadium.

Travellers have been told to allow and additional 40 minutes for their journey.
