Collision causes peak hour traffic chaos

One person’s been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle collision in Newtown on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to Latrobe Terrace near the corner of Myers Street at around 5.05pm to find multiple vehicles involved in an accident.

All occupants of the vehicles were out of their cars and assessed by paramedics, one was taken to hospital.

There’s reports two lanes are closed along Latrobe Terrace southbound during peak hour traffic.

The incident was deemed Under Control at 5.08pm and the scene handed to Victoria Police.
