A man in his sixties has been left in shocked after he was slashed on the leg with a machete.
Tony Lewis, 63, had been trying to help a group of teen males after they crashed a stolen car into his neighbours home.
He says it was a frightening experience.

“I’m a big man, and he wasn’t that big, but he hurt me,” he said.
“And he frightened me.”
A 16 year old and another aged 18 have been charged, while others have been given cautions.
Lewis says more needs to be done.
“There has to be consequences, and there are none,” he said.

“When people are constantly getting bail, it’s just ridiculous.”
