Staff at the City of Greater Geelong are being told they will need to be back in the office for at least three days a week,
Many have been working from home during and following the pandemic.
However new council CEO Ali Wastie wants staff to return, joining the executive team.

“All of the executive team will be back to the office and what I mean by that is 100 per cent office based,” Ms Wastie told the Geelong Advertiser.
She said the mandated number of days in the office would create a high performing culture and organisation.
Ms Wastie is also forecasting a surplus for the city in the coming financial year.
