Crews called to car into structure

Emergency services have been called to reports of a car into a structure in Newtown.

It happened on Fernery Grove just before 12.30pm Tuesday.

Fire Rescue Victoria says there were not reported injuries.

The incident was declared under control within ten minutes, with firefighters staying on scene to ensure the safety of the area.

Meantime, CFA crews called to a house fire in Wyndham Vale have found the property well alight.

The blaze broke out before 12pm on Farrier Road.

The fire authority says the residents were accounted for.

The flames were brought under control in just over an hour, but the CFA says crews remain on scene.
