Crews called to Moolap factory blaze

A factory has gone up in flames in Moolap, prompting an advice for smoke in the area.

Emergency services were called to Buckley Grove around 12.20am Monday, finding the 50x20m fully involved in flames.

Firefighters took just under 90 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities warned smoke could be seen from nearby roads.

An advice that was in place early Monday morning has since been lifted.

The cause of the fire is expected to be investigated today.

Police say it will be treated as suspicious until a cause is determined.
