A man has died at a beach in Torquay despite efforts from members of the public and emergency services.
Emergency services were called to the Esplanade just after 10 on Saturday morning after a man was pulled from the water unresponsive.
Members of the public began CPR on the man before emergency services arrived, but where unable to revive him.

The man is yet to be formally identified.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
