A Melbourne developer has submitted plans to build 31 homes in St Albans Park.
And it could just be the beginning for the region.
The eight million dollar project would see the land at 285-287 Wilsons Road used for the project.
The plans have been submitted by Melbourne planners Human Habitats, and show a detailed plan for what changes would be made to the area.
Members of the community can provide supports or objections on council’s website.
It comes as there are continued calls for more homes to be built in the region.
The Victorian Government has made an announcement of draft housing targets for each local government area with the final numbers to be released by the end of the year.
The proposal could see Geelong accommodate almost 140-thousand new homes by 2051.
