Police say a roadside speed camera picked up the vehicle travelling 130km/h in the 60-zone.

It’s alleged the 26-year-old driver from Armstrong Creek returned a positive roadside breath test, while officers also found five passengers in the vehicle, with four of them filling the back seats, none of whom were wearing seatbelts.

The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Geelong Police Station, where he allegedly returned a reading of 0.119 on an evidentiary breath test.

He’s been slapped with a range of dangerous driving charges and has been bailed to face court in June, he’s also copped an immediate 12-month loss of licence.
