A 52-year-old man is expected to be charged on summons after being caught allegedly drink-driving at Corio early Sunday morning.
A Mazda CX9 wagon spotted driving on the wrong side of Cox Road
The disqualified driver returning an alleged blood alcohol reading of .233 – that’s almost five times the legal limit.
“It went from bad to worse when they realised he was already disqualified from driving,” police said in a statement.
“Officers impounded the man’s vehicle at a cost of $1320 and he can expect to receive a summons for drink driving, driving while disqualified, driving on the wrong side of the road and using his phone while driving.”
