Good news for local families with young children in the region.
The Barwon Early Parenting Centre officially opening its doors last month, providing a number of services for young families.
The services including assistance with needs such as feeding, sleeping and developmental behaviours.
Professor Dave Fuller, clinical director for women, children and families says it’s a great outcome for the region.
“The early years of parenting can be some of the most memorable and cherished times in our lives, but it’s common for this period to come with new challenges and unique difficulties,’ he said.
“Our region is experiencing significant growth, and with that comes a growing demand on the vital support services we provide to families of young children.”
