A man has been arrested for stealing a car in Newcomb.
Police locating the stolen vehicle while on patrol around 4.30 at the corner of Bellarine Highway and Coppard’s Road Whittington.
“A 30-year-old man from Charlemont was arrested nearby and conveyed to the Geelong Police Station, where he was charged with theft of a motor vehicle,” police said in a statement.

The man will face court in November.
“We continue to do all we can to ensure our communities are safe and cared for. That includes patrols 24/07.”
