Elaine blaze treated as suspicious

A housefire north of Geelong is being treated as suspicious.

CFA crews were called to Mystery Lane, Elaine just before 2pm Tuesday, finding the property well alight.

It was under control by 2.40pm, and declared safe just after 3pm.

The cause is being investigated, but the fire authority says police were called due to suspicious circumstances.
