The entire V/Line network has been brought to a screeching halt due to a Telstra outage impacting customers across the country.
The rail operator has reported a communications issues impacting lines statewide, with all services put on hold due to a radio network fault.
Trains have stopped at their nearest station.

Passengers have been warned there will be very little few coach replacements available, asked to defer travel where possible.
Transport Victoria’s signals team will monitor conditions and adjust traffic lights to assist buses that do run.
V/Line said they’re assessing the situation and will advise when trains will resume, with no certainty yet on when that will be.
