A family has made a lucky escape after a house fire in Point Cook.
Three people and a dog have been forced to evacuate following the blaze at a home on Victorking Drive.
The fire starting on the bottom floor of the two storey home and causing significant damage.
No one was injured as a result of the blaze.
More than 10 vehicles were in attendance to exteniguish the blaze, with more than 30 fire fighters involved in the emergency.
“FRV firefighters have deemed the cause of the fire as electrical in nature,” an FRV spokesperson said.
“FRV Firefighters will be in attendance throughout the morning to continue fire duties, including extinguishment of hot spots.
