The Christmas festivities are coming to a close in Geelong tonight.
Locals will have once last chance to see Australia’s tallest Christmas tree light up our waterfront before midnight.
Made up of over 800 lights, the tree has decorated Steampacket Quay for several weeks.

Today is its last hurrah before the happiest time of year rolls around again in December.
The tree was a part of the Christmas in Geelong program, an initiative by the City of Greater Geelong.
Hoping to bring an extra sparkle to the city, the event is free and accessible near the carousal for one last night.
