A two-storey childcare centre is on the cards for Lara.
A planning application has been lodged with the City of Greater Geelong for the development at 32 Walkers Road.
The block of land currently has a house on it.

There is a proposal for the centre to operate between 6.30am and 6pm, and provide places for up to 70 children.
The application says there will be four rooms, one on the ground floor and three on the first floor.
The ground floor will also have a reception area, office and kitchenette.
There will also be 13 car spaces as part of the proposal.
The City of Greater Geelong is now asking for feedback, which will close on December 30.
