Locals are being encouraged to have their say on a plan to sell a council-owned piece of land in Bannockburn.
Golden Plains Shire is looking to offload the vacant block at 132 Milton Street, which is a 3.5 hectare parcel in the northern part of the Bannockburn Recreation Precinct.
A council meeting in December found the land was surplus to the shire’s needs.

If the sale is approved, the council says funds raised would be directed to the Recreational Future Fund, allowing for community infrastructure to be delivered.
