Fire crews called to Corio blaze

A fire at a Corio home is being treated as suspicious.

Crews were called to the Princes Highway around 9.45am Monday to reports of smoke coming from the property.

FRV crews used breathing apparatus to put the flames out.

There was no-one at home at the time.

FRV says the scene was handed to police to investigate once the incident was declared safe.
