Crews called to reports of a house fire in Norlane have found a small blaze that had reignited at the scene of a previous incident.
The arrived on scene on the corner of Bellbird Avenue and Robin Avenue just after 4am Saturday.
Fire Rescue Victoria says firefighters worked to ensure the scene was made safe, with police also on scene.
Crews had previously been Bellbird Avenue just after 6am on Friday, bringing the flames under control within 15 minutes.
It comes as FRV and CFA crews have been called to at least five fires in the northern suburb in the last week.
A woman died in a unit fire on Thompson Road on Tuesday morning, with investigations continuing into the cause.
Three people who had been arrested in relation to the fire have since been released pending further enquiries.
