Cats fans will have to wait until Friday to book their tickets for next week’s qualifying final.
The Cats – who secured second spot with another big win against the Tigers – will take on Brisbane in the second qualifying final the MCG.
The league is yet to confirm the date of the clash due to the Gold Coast and Essendon game still to decide where the makeup of the elimination finals.
“The week one Toyota AFL Finals fixture and ticket on-sale information will be confirmed on Wednesday night (27 August) following the conclusion of the final game of the home and away season – Gold Coast SUNS v Essendon,” the Cats website said.

It will be the fourth meeting between the two clubs in finals since 2020, though the first not taking place in a preliminary final.
