Several events and services will be held across Geelong and the Surf Coast on Friday to commemorate Anzac Day, with the Torquay service expecting a large attendance again.
The dawn service at Point Danger is typically the highest attended service in the state outside of Melbourne, with attendees encouraged to arrive early.
The service starts from 6am, with community members and guests to arrive 5.30am, before marchers step off from Anzac Parade roundabout at 5.50am.
Closer to Geelong, the Eastern Beach dawn service will be returning at 6am, while a separate service will be held at the Boer War Memorial near Kardinia Park from 6.30.
Portarlington, Lara, Queenscliff, Ocean Grove and Lorne will be among other popular services held across our region.
Meanwhile, striking projections will be displayed on City Hall starting from Friday.
Launching with an early showing to coincide with the Dawn Service in Johnstone Park and again from dusk to 11.30pm until Sunday.
The free art program will tell the moving story of the ANZACs, featuring powerful symbols of sacrifice, and remembering the soldiers who lost their lives.
