Geelong has shivered through it’s coldest morning since September last year.
The mercury dipped as low as 0.8 degrees just after 5am on Thursday, but it felt like -1.
It was colder again in the Golden Plains region, with Bannockburn hitting a low of 0.2, feeling as chilly as -3.7 degrees well into the morning.

Geelong’s expected to hit a top of 13 degrees, with sun hopefully on the way after a thick cloud of fog blanketed the region early.
There are slightly warmer days ahead, with temperatures of 15 and 16 degrees on the forecast.
It’ll be wet through, with rain predicted from Saturday onwards.
