The Great Ocean Road’s tourism body is calling for people to make their way down and support local business.
The group confirming the road is now completely reopen, with almost all parks also returning to business.
The group calling for locals to use the Australia Day long weekend to support the region.
“Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks beach side parks, from Torquay to Port Campbell, are open and welcoming guests,” the body said.
“With the exception of Erskine River Park in Lorne which remains closed.
“Although parts of the Great Otway National Park in the flood impacted area remain closed, Erskine Falls road and Erskine Falls ares open and Grey River Road from Kennett River is open.
“The Great Ocean Road region relies heavily on the visitor economy as an economic driver especially during the summer peak and businesses are hoping to see the return of visitors for the final weeks of the school holidays and the Australia Day weekend.”
