A clean up is underway after yesterday’s storms and heavy rain.
Residents in Werrribee and Hoppers Crossing reported tornado-like conditions with buildings damaged and trees brought down.
The SES responded to more than 200 calls for help while thousands were left without power.

Resident Bianca says it was a tough afternoon.
“It felt like a huge pressure,” she said.
“We looked down the road and saw garage doors ripped off their hinges and roof tiles flying down the street.”
Trees were brought down and homes also lost power.
Geelong copped a bit of rain with 16 mills falling.
