Police are on the hunt for a person involved in the stabbing of a teeanger in Geelong yesterday afternoon.
A teenager remains in hospital after the incident in Market Square yesterday afternoon.
“Police have been told two boys were seen fighting in the mall of a shopping centre while a group of teenage bystanders, believed known to the pair, looked on,” police said in a statement.
“A 17-year-old boy was later found by police injured nearby with suspected stab wounds.
“It is believed the other person involved and several bystanders fled the scene and were last seen headed towards Yarra Street.”
