The contract to design the expansion of the North Bellarine Aquatic Centre in Drysdale has been awarded.
Geelong councillors have voted to award the contract for the detailed design of stage two of the centre to Williams Ross Architects.
The stage is expected to feature an indoor pool, social space and cafe.

It will be built alongside the current outdoor 50m heated pool.
The federal and state governments have committed $20 million each for the project, with the City contributing $300,000.
Work on the facility is expected to start in late 2025, and should be ready to open in mid to late 2027.
