Police have renewed an appeal for information on a violent home invasion in Hoppers Crossing in July.
One resident was assaulted when offenders broke into a home on Mailrun Court on the night of July 29, reportedly armed with machetes.
The victim was not seriously injured in the incident.

Officers say the offenders stole two mobile phones and damaged a car in the driveway before taking off in a dark coloured sedan.
It is believed the same offenders went to the home the day before, but did not try to enter the property.
