Police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a serious crash at Stonehaven last night.
A driver airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries after slamming into a light pole on Pollocksford Road.
“It is understood a car was travelling along Pollocksford Road when it lost control and crashed into a power pole about 7.10pm,” police said in a statement.

“The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
The circumstances of the crash have yet to be determined.
