Three Geelong organisations have been nominated in the 2023 Premier’s Sustainability Awards.
The Barwon Renewable Energy Partnership is a finalist in the Future Energy category.
The partnership is a collaboration between Barwon Water, Barwon Health and GeelongPort.

Geelong Sustainability has been recognised for its Climate Safe Rooms initiative, nominated in the Health and Fair Society category.
It provides housing safe from variable temperatures for locals with existing chronic health conditions.
Local architecture firm Brew Koch has been nominated for Community Champion Award, for its work on a nature property near Bannockburn.
The winners will be announced next month during a ceremony in Melbourne.
