There are set to be more beds for Epworth’s Waurn Ponds Hospital.
The local facility will be undergoing a $20 million expansion, that will see an additional 66 beds added.
There will also be another two operating theatres.

Work is due to get underway over coming months, and comes after CEO Andrew Stripp started a review of the local hospital.
