The last election night update from the Australian Electoral Commission was delivered in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It showed Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles with an almost 24,000 vote lead over Liberal candidate Darren Buller.
In Corangamite, Libby Coker is on track to become the seat’s first three-term Labor MP.
She was leading Liberal candidate Darcy Dunstan in two candidate preferred counts when voting wrapped up for the night, sitting on 59.3%.
Long-serving Liberal Dan Tehan has held off Independent Alex Dyson in the seat on Wannon, currently holding a lead of close to 6,000 votes.
Another strong lead for Labor, this time in Lalor where Joanne Ryan is sitting on 63.3% two candidate preferred.
As of Sunday morning, the AEC is yet to formally declare any seat across the country.
