Magpie swooping season is back.
There has been at least one incident across Greater Geelong recently.
A cyclist reported being swooped on last week in Drysdale, according to the Magpie Alert website.

Males tend to swoop between August and October, as a scare tactic to keep their chicks safe.
Experts recommend wearing sunglasses and hats when out walking or cycling, avoiding eye contact and not waving arms around aggressively.
