One person has been airlifted to hospital following a collision between a car and a truck in Staughton Vale.
Emergency services were called to Geelong-Ballan Road around 2.20pm on Thursday.
The man behind the wheel of the car was extracted and taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries.
A specialist Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter as well as Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedics treated one patient.
The driver of the truck was uninjured and assisted police with enquiries.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
