A man has been arrested over a stabbing in Torquay.
Police have been told a man armed with a knife went into several stores on Zeally Bay Road and Fischer Street around 10.45am Saturday.
It is understood he approached a stabbed a man in one shop before assaulting another two people in a pharmacy on Gilbert Street.

The man who was stabbed was assessed at the scene by paramedics for a minor injury.
He did not need to go to hospital.
The other two people assaulted were not injured.
Police say the man ran off but was arrested a short time later in a home at Torquay.
They say a man in his 50s has been taken to hospital for assessment.
