Police have caught a man after he allegedly stole a luxury car from a dealer in Newtown.
The man – who was on three counts of bail – was caught by police in a car park allegedly trying to change the plates on the car.
The man arrested on several charges including theft of the vehicle, driving while disqualified and handling stolen goods.
He’s set to face court today.
It was part of a police operation across the day that saw four other people arrested.
That includes a 38 year old woman was arrested for shop lifting in Newcomb, while a 15-year-old boy was also arrested for shoplifting.
Police said they would continue with operations across the region.
