Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a man drowned on New Years Day near Anglesea.
Emergency services were called to reports a man had been pulled unresponsive from the water at Hutt Gully Beach, off Great Ocean Road, about 2.20pm Monday.

Police were told the man appeared to be in trouble just before being pulled from the water.
Sadly, by the time the man was out of the water he was unresponsive and unable to revived, dying at the scene,
The man is yet to be identified, the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
