A man is recovering in hospital after being clipped by a bus at Avalon.
Police say the 31-year-old’s car caught fire after one his tyres popped on the Princes Freeway around 7pm Monday.
They say when the man jumped out of the car, he was clipped.

He was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury and abrasions.
The bus driver initially stopped, but left before officers arrived.
Police say have tracked the driver down, who will be interviewed in relation to failing to help.
