Man injured in Thomson stabbing

A man has been stabbed at Thomson.

Police believe the 47-year-old from Charlemont was stabbed in the arm by an unknown man on Godfrey Street just after 6.30 this morning.

He has been taken to University Hospital Geelong in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are trying to work out what led to the attack.

They are asking anyone with information or CCTV footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
