A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Newcomb. It’s understood a car crashed into a pole between Wilsons Road and Neptune Avenue on Portarlington Road just after 9am. “The yet-to-be-formally-identified male driver died at the scene,” police said in a statement. “Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. “Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, dashcam footage or any other information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
