A man has died after he was crushed beneath a fan blade at the Golden Plains wind farm on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the wind farm on Bells Road in Rokewood around 8am.
First responders attempted to revive the man, but he died at the scene.
A Vestas spokesperson has confirmed the site has been closed and the company is working closely with emergency services and the authorities.
Danny Nielsen, Senior Vice President and Country Head Vestas Australia and New Zealand, will provide an update outside the site gates at 3pm Monday when more is known.
It is not known yet how the incident happened, WorkSafe will investigate.
