A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a car in Belmont.
Emergency services were called to reports of the collision on the corner of High Street and Mount Pleasant Road just before 8.30pm Friday.
Police believe the car then hit a pole following the crash.

The male rider was taken to hospital, while the male driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
Police are investigating, and have asked anyone with information or footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
